Welcode by SIMPLON

Simplon is committed to the inclusion of refugees and non-European nationals through the Welcode path, financed by the Asylum Migration Integration Fund (2018-2021).

Program

  • Intensive and qualifying course in a digital profession that is highly sought-after on the job market within a mixed promotion. Learners are trained according to active pedagogy and carry out group work throughout the course.
  • French courses adapted to the levels and needs of the learners.
    • Before the technical course, up to 160 hours of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes are offered to learners at the Alliance Française, which offers quality courses for mixed groups. These intensive French courses allow each learner to improve his or her skills according to his or her level and needs (oral, written, grammar, etc.) and to progress in French before entering the technical course.
    • During the technical course, learners continue their French learning (up to 110 hours) in French courses on specific objectives (FOS) in small groups of 3 to 6 learners. The French courses are directly related to the digital field and the targeted profession, the course (professional writings, oral presentations, preparation for certifications and/or professional titles), and the professional project’s construction (professional emails, CV, cover letter, simulated interviews).
  • Reinforced support for developing soft skills and professional integration: throughout the course, learners benefit from several workshops to develop transversal skills. They are individually supported in their search for an internship and professional integration after the course.
