The University of Limoges proposes two courses offers in B1 and B2 in DU Passerelle, adapted to the specific needs of students in exile: asylum seekers, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection, and refugees with a university project at the University of Limoges or a professional project for the following year.

These courses are intended for people in exile with at least a foreign baccalauréat, who have had to flee their country and wish to learn French to resume their studies or develop their professional projects. Also, the launch of DU Passerelle will allow candidates under protection to access scholarships and university housing.

The objective of these courses is to bring students in exile to acquire on the one hand an “autonomous” level in the French language to integrate an LMD training (from level B2) and on the other hand intercultural skills allowing them a successful integration and mastery of the codes of the French university system. Candidates for these training courses will register at the University of Limoges and be granted “student” status.
