The Collectif Réfugiés organizes its intensive course 2020-2021

The Refugee Collective organizes its intensive course and socio-professional support for statutory and/or newly-arrived refugees.

OBJECTIVES

● Learning French to promote autonomy in everyday life

● Understanding the world of work to facilitate access to employment

● Participate in outings and socio-cultural activities for better social integration

 

PUBLIC TARGETED

● Persons benefiting from international protection (refugees and persons benefiting from subsidiary protection) and/or newcomers aged at least 18 years.

● People in a precarious housing situation (mainly housed or domiciled in Paris): HUDA, CPH, hotel, etc.

● Signatories of the CIR who have preferably already completed their OFII language course.

● People with the material capacity to participate in a course program that is partly distance learning. Requires that individuals have access to a smartphone and/or computer and an Internet connection and are autonomous in their use.

● People who are willing to start a social and professional integration process are available from 3 pm to 12 pm per week.

● Socio-cultural background (as far as possible)

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

The information followed by a (*) will be confirmed and/or changed according to the sanitary situation’s evolution.

● Dates: from June 29 or July 6 (*) until August 7, 2020.

● Duration and rhythm: 3 groups of different levels over a period of 5 or 6 weeks (*). 15h or 12h per week depending on the level group (*).
From Monday to Friday, in the morning and/or afternoon, depending on the day (*).
Mixed course: face-to-face (50% of the course) and distance learning (50% of the course) (*).

● Location: 18th arrondissement, Paris and distance learning.

● Number of participants: approximately 30 places

● Rate: free
